Oops! A lorry dilemma in Haverfordwest! 🚛 On Good Friday, a sizeable truck found itself in a tight spot while attempting a tricky turn in the town centre. The drama unfolded around 3pm on Mariners Square, resulting in the closure of Tower Hill due to a traffic incident.

Imagery from the scene paints quite a picture: a Dutch lorry from John Pronk Transport wedged on a one-way street near the Greyhound Inn and Hotel Mariners. Adding to the commotion, the vehicle seems entangled with nearby scaffolding, although it’s unconfirmed if it actually struck it.

Emergency crews, including the police and fire services, were quickly on site. While access to Mariners Square was sealed off, the Greyhound Inn remained open for business as usual. However, the drama lingered into the night, as a witness noted more scaffolding might be necessary before freeing the lorry.
