**Family’s Heartbreaking Discovery on the M61**

In a devastating turn of events, Nadeem Hussain’s family was forced to identify his body 28 hours after a tragic car crash on the M61. Despite an iPhone crash alert sent shortly after the accident, police closed the case when they couldn’t make contact. Desperate to find him, his family tracked his phone, finding their loved one’s vehicle down a motorway verge.

Known to friends and family as Dimmy, Nadeem was not just a dedicated mechanic but a beloved father, husband, brother, and son. Tributes have poured in from those who knew him, describing him as a kind, thoughtful man with a passion for cars. A loving father to Maleesha, Anayah, and Zakariyah, he was fond of spending Sundays at auctions with his daughter, often bringing home extra ‘treasures’ to tease his wife.
The family is currently raising funds through a GoFundMe campaign, pledging to build wells in developing countries in his honour. Over £4,000 has already been collected, showcasing the community’s love and respect for Nadeem.
The inquest into Nadeem’s passing revealed that his death was caused by injuries from the collision, and further investigations by Lancashire Police are ongoing. As they come to terms with this unimaginable loss, the family is also grieving the recent loss of Nadeem’s sister, Nadia, making this an especially tragic time for them.
Nadeem’s legacy lives on through the love and memories he leaves behind, as well as the positive impact his family hopes to make in his name. 💔
