🚨 Hidden Wall Stash Uncovered in Abergavenny Shop! 🚨
Shock discovery in Abergavenny! 🕵️♀️ Council inspectors, along with a cunning tobacco-sniffing dog, unveiled an elaborate hideaway for illegal cigarettes and vapes tucked behind the walls of a local shop.
Using a secret hydraulic system, the shop kept these illicit goods out of sight. But not anymore! 💪 Officials had to break into the intricate set-up to find the stash. And they weren’t exactly given a warm welcome by the staff during the search… 😬
The sophisticated operation follows a broader effort under Operation CeCe, a crackdown led by national and local authorities to tackle the unlawful tobacco trade across the UK. 🚨
Cllr Angela Sandles praised the council team, saying these hidden products not only undermine honest local businesses but also jeopardise public health. 🛡️ Health and safety first, right?
What happens next? 🧐 The council’s looking at next steps to hold the shop accountable. Could be big trouble ahead for those trying to outsmart the law!
Stay informed, stay safe! 📢 Let’s keep our communities clean of illegal trade.
