🚨 High-Speed Drama on Cwmbran Roads! 🚨

Two men, Luke Jones and Louis Hall, found themselves at the centre of a wild police chase that hit speeds of 103mph! 🚗💨 The duo, caught red-handed with over £3,000 worth of crack cocaine, attempted to outrun the law but met an explosive end when their Volkswagen Touareg collided with a council lorry and a parked car on Ton Road.
Police were hot on their trail, matching their pace in a nail-biting pursuit. Despite their car being damaged, the suspects pushed on into a residential area before ditching their ride and fleeing on foot. Their escape was short-lived as officers quickly apprehended them.

In total, officers found 44g of crack cocaine, a nugget of cannabis, and a whopping £13,034 in cash. Plus, some dodgy messages in “coded language” were found on their phones. 📱💰🚓

Jones, from St Dials, is no stranger to controversy with past convictions for wounding and drug supply. He fessed up to charges including possession with intent to supply, dangerous driving, and fraudulent registration use. Despite his troubled past, he now has a stable family life with a young daughter.
Hall, from Pontypool, also pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. The court acknowledged his chaotic upbringing and issues with homelessness.
Judge Daniel Williams came down hard, citing their “grossly excessive speeds and outrageous driving.” The verdict? Jones is off the roads with a driving ban and will serve four years and eight months behind bars. Hall received a two-year six-month sentence. 🚔⚖️
