🎬🎓 Lights, camera, future! Warwick Davis, beloved for his spellbinding role as Professor Flitwick, opened the doors to magic at the first-ever Creative Careers Fair at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Set amidst iconic sets, thousands of students from across the UK immersed themselves in a world filled with career possibilities in the film industry.

These young creatives had a chance to chat with the brilliant minds behind the magic of the Harry Potter films! From Head Prop Maker Pierre Bohanna to Special Effects Supervisor John Richardson, students heard firsthand about the craftsmanship behind each scene. The event unveiled how subjects like art, science, and English can be stepping stones into exciting film roles like costume design, sound engineering, and more.

Warwick Davis shared nostalgic tales from the set, emphasising the importance of youth engaging with creative industries. “It’s crucial to open young minds to the diverse roles available in filmmaking,” he remarked. “Many didn’t know the number of talented individuals it takes to bring characters to life on these sets, but today’s event has unleashed a world of possibilities.”

The fair comes on the heels of a study revealing most students couldn’t name more than a few positions within the industry. Yet, with 72% already nurturing skills like editing, model-making, and filming, the potential is vast! This initiative encourages exploration, with Alice, a 16-year-old attendee, beaming: “It felt like a whole new world of possibilities opened up before my eyes.”
