Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for 21-year-old Rowan Booth from Prestatyn, who tragically lost his life while paddleboarding at Llyn Geirionydd in North Wales. The much-loved young man was known for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need.
Rowan’s sister, Madelaine Booth, shared a moving tribute to her brother, describing him as someone who would do absolutely anything for anyone, no questions asked. She said, “He touched so many lives without asking for anything in return.”
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help cover Rowan’s funeral costs and provide him with the send-off he truly deserves. Shay Green, who organised the fundraiser, wrote about Rowan’s selfless nature, calling him a “crazy lad that would happily do anything for anyone for nothing, without hesitation.” Donations so far have surpassed £800, showing the community’s immense support.
Madelaine took to Facebook to express gratitude for the love and support received, asking friends and family not only for donations but also to share their favourite memories of Rowan. She encouraged everyone to post stories, photos, or videos in the comments to celebrate the joy he brought to so many lives.
