🎉 Barry Pride Shines Bright Despite the Weather! 🌧️🌈
Barry’s Pride celebration was nothing short of fabulous, proving that a little drizzle can’t dim our rainbow. The seaside town came alive with vibrant colours, music, and community spirit for the sixth year running. Hundreds gathered to march proudly down Holton Road before heading over to Central Park for a day of festivities.
No rain could spoil the lively atmosphere as two massive marquees kept everyone dry and the party vibes alive. Live performances wowed the crowd, including incredible tributes to Beyoncé and Amy Winehouse, and a special appearance by Welsh Drag Race UK star Catrin Feelings.
With June being Pride Month, Barry’s event is one of many across Wales dedicated to celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community. Next up is Pride Cymru in Cardiff, promising even more unforgettable moments later this month!
From rainbow umbrellas to dazzling outfits, flags were flying high and smiles were everywhere. It was a day packed with laughter, dance, and unity. Families and friends filled the seaside park, proving once again that Pride is all about love and joy.
