Mid-flight nightmare! 😱 A Ryanair journey turned into a real-life thriller when one passenger was partially sucked out of a plane window at 20,000 ft. Ljubiša Karovi was enjoying a trip back from Greece with his wife Svetlana before things took a dramatic turn. Shortly after taking off, a rogue engine part broke free and shattered a window right next to Ljubiša’s seat.

The sudden decompression left Ljubiša dangerously exposed to the sky, but his wife Svetlana wasn’t about to let him go without a fight. In a scene straight out of an action movie, she grabbed onto his legs with a firm grip as he hung precariously. “I thought: ‘If we die, we die together,’” Svetlana bravely shared, describing the terrifying ordeal. A fellow passenger quickly stepped in to help, ensuring Ljubiša made it back inside the cabin.

Meanwhile, the heroic crew acted quickly, with the pilot turning the aircraft back to Thessaloniki for an emergency landing. Ryanair later confirmed that the plane landed safely and passengers were taken care of, with a replacement aircraft dispatched to complete their journey.
Sadly, Ljubiša’s injuries were severe, leaving him unable to speak due to shock and multiple burns. Yet, thanks to Svetlana’s quick thinking and the bravery of those aboard, he survived an unimaginable ordeal. Our thoughts are with them both as Ljubiša recovers in hospital. ❤️
Ryanair assured passengers of a swift return to safety and thanked everyone, including the extraordinary passengers and crew, for their efforts during this unexpected emergency.
Share your thoughts and send your well wishes to Ljubiša and Svetlana. 🛫💪 #RyanairDrama #HeroicWife #PlaneSafety
