A shocking incident in Pembroke Dock has caught everyone’s attention. A man was left with a suspected broken jaw after a brutal attack in a caravan where he intended to buy drugs. The streets became the stage for his distress as he staggered around, bloodied and battered, until the police found him.

The court heard that the victim ended up in a caravan with Zack High, who viciously punched and kicked him, leaving him with significant injuries. It all started when the victim went to buy cocaine but instead walked into a nightmare. Following the attack, the victim managed to walk back into the town centre, contacting a friend via video call, which led to the police being alerted.
High, caught up in this violent altercation allegedly due to personal grievances, was brought before Swansea Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm after initially being charged with a more serious offence. High’s lawyer suggested a tangled web of personal relationships might have lit the fuse for this conflict.

Judge Geraint Walters handed down an 18-month prison sentence, acknowledging the severity of the assault. High will serve 40% of this behind bars before moving to community supervision on licence. Additionally, he’s under a five-year restraining order to keep him away from the victim.
This unsettling case highlights the dark underbelly of drug-related crime and personal vendettas. As justice takes its course, it’s a stark reminder of the potential dangers lurking in unexpected places. Stay safe, and always be aware of your surroundings!
