🚨 Traffic Update: Cwmbran 🚨
A serious road accident occurred outside Cwmbran Train Station this morning, causing significant traffic delays in the area. The crash involved a car and a bus at the junction of Edlogan Way and Somerset Road around 8am. Emergency services quickly responded, with Gwent Police, South Wales Fire and Rescue, and the Welsh Ambulance Service all on the scene, working together to manage the incident.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital, but thankfully, her injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. Local traffic was heavily impacted, with delays reported around the Morrisons roundabout, but the road has since reopened and traffic is back to normal.
