Tragic news from Pembrokeshire as a young motorcyclist, 22-year-old Callum Hanson, sadly lost his life following a crash on the A4075. The collision involved a grey Kia Sorento and Callum’s white Yamaha motorcycle, happening between Canaston Bridge and Yerbeston. While Callum was taken to the hospital, the driver of the Kia, a man in his 60s, was unharmed. Additionally, a female passenger on the motorcycle was hospitalised for her injuries.

Callum’s family is heartbroken, remembering him as a “deeply caring,” “kind,” and “loving” individual. He had been taking care of his grandad who also recently passed. Callum loved gaming and motorbikes and was training to be a mechanic. His family, including his parents Joanne and Carl, sister Kacey, and girlfriend Emily, ask for privacy during this difficult period.

In light of the incident, Dyfed-Powys Police reported themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct since a police vehicle was nearby when the accident occurred. However, without evidence of a pursuit or contact, the investigation is back with the local force’s Professional Standards Department.

Our hearts go out to Callum’s family and friends. If anyone has information about the incident, please contact Dyfed-Powys Police. Stay safe on the roads, everyone.
