Guess who’s back and feeling the difference? Yep, our very own Jac Morgan has returned to the Wales squad, and he’s buzzing with the changes he’s spotted since his time away from Test rugby. After a challenging break due to injury, he’s back on the field, noticing a tangible growth in the team under the guidance of head coach Steve Tandy.
Jac, who was part of last summer’s British and Irish Lions series, had to sit out the last eight Test matches. But during that time, he saw Wales evolving and improving with each game. “It feels like the squad has grown leaps and bounds,” says Jac, praising the team’s identity and gameplay development.
Despite having captained previously, Jac is all in to support Dewi Lake, who continues as captain this summer. Their camaraderie is unmistakable. “Dewi’s a fantastic leader,” Jac shares. “I’m just here to back him up and play my part.”
