ππΈ Fuel Bills on the Rise This June! πΈπ

Petrol drivers, brace yourselves for a steeper monthly fuel bill of Β£123, thanks to climbing petrol prices! The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has taken a toll on pump prices, pushing petrol to a hefty 159.48p per litre and diesel to 184.31p.

If you drive a standard petrol vehicle and cover average mileage, you’re likely feeling the pinch. With petrol costing around 20p per mile, those monthly trips are getting more expensive!
It’s not just us drivers bearing the brunt. Extra VAT collected from these price hikes exceeds a whopping Β£336 million! While we all feel the impact, diesel drivers, especially those running commercial vehicles, are having to pass on added costs to customers. ππ
To ease some of the financial strain, the government is extending the temporary 5p fuel duty cut until the end of 2026. This was supposed to expire in September but will now stay in place to offer some relief as we all navigate these pricey pump times.
Times are tough, and whether you’re behind the wheel or not, these changes affect us all. Let’s hope for some price relief soon!
