🏟️⚽️ Swansea City are back in action! As the Swans dive into pre-season training, there are some new, old, and missing faces at Fairwood. Fans got a sneak peek of the training sessions with a clip featuring stars like Zan Vipotnik, Liam Cullen, Ben Cabango, and Adam Idah. It’s exciting times as Bobby Wales and Filip Lissah have joined the squad following their successful loan stints. Lissah, especially, is expected to step up after making waves with Falkirk in Scotland.
Florian Bianchini and Ollie Cooper are also back, though there are whispers about Cooper’s future. Boss Vitor Matos hinted that discussions are on the horizon about what’s best for both Cooper and the club.
Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing Eom Jisung, Cameron Burgess, and Marko Stamenic just yet as they’re taking a well-earned break after their World Cup performances. Joel Ward’s absence is also noted, as his next move remains a mystery with his contract having expired.
On a brighter note, two new signings have joined the mix! Winger Moussa Yeo introduced himself with, “I’m Moussa Yeo and I’m happy to be here.” Fellow new boy Stephen Welsh is buzzing too, calling the team “a lovely group” and even managing to get a laugh out of the boss.
It’s going to be a rollercoaster of a pre-season as the team gears up for the big league kick-off in August. Stay tuned for more updates and let the excitement begin! 🎉🙌 #SwanseaCity #SwansPreSeason #FootballNews
