🛂 On your first trip to a Schengen country, you may need to register your biometric details like fingerprints and a photo at special booths before heading to the immigration desk. And, don’t forget, there might be a quick photo or fingerprint scan on your way out too. No worries for the little ones under 11, though—they’re off the hook for fingerprinting but might still get their picture taken.

🆓 The good news? EES registration is free and lasts for three years!

🕒 Why the change? This new system is designed to boost border security and cut down on illegal migration.

✈️ Quick passport check: Make sure yours was issued less than 10 years before your arrival date and expires at least 3 months after your planned departure from the Schengen area.

So, travel smart and enjoy the beautiful sights Europe has to offer without any hiccups! Safe travels! 🌍✈️
