Wow, what a scene! A video making the rounds online shows a fierce altercation between two men at the David Lloyd gym in Knowsley. The heated scuffle erupted in the men’s changing rooms, leaving one participant with a bloody face. Imagine witnessing that while you’re just there for a workout!
It kicked off around 6:10 pm on April 27th and quickly drew in the authorities. Merseyside Police arrived on the scene and arrested a 46-year-old from Brighton-le-Sands and a 53-year-old from Netherley on suspicion of affray. Those guys were going at it, and the footage even shows one bloke poking the other’s eye—ouch!
But while the drama unfolded in full view, police are urging folks not to speculate online. They’ve asked anyone with firsthand info to come forward directly instead of fuelling the social media frenzy. Detective Inspector Edward Barr emphasised how alarming the situation was, especially with kids around.
The gym’s management has kept mum on the incident, but the police are cracking down, investigating the sequence of events leading up to this shocking brawl. Both men are now released on bail with conditions, but the call is out for more witnesses to speak up.
