Two young drug dealers took “hiding in plain sight” to the next level in Newport! Kyle Williams, 20, and Jaydan Iles, 18, were caught with cocaine stashed inside Kinder eggs tucked away in their undies. Yep, you read that right—Kinder eggs!

These lads were nabbed on February 22 by sharp-eyed plain clothes officers who smelled cannabis wafting from their silver Mercedes and red Nissan Qashqai meeting in a car park. A swift check revealed more than just candy surprises. Iles had 17 wraps of cocaine in his egg, worth over a grand, and three phones, including a burner phone with drug-related texts. Williams had a couple of wraps, two phones, cash, and a surprise dagger hidden in the Qashqai!

Despite no prior convictions, both lads pleaded guilty to serious charges, including possession with intent to supply. Luckily for them, Judge Eugene Egan gave them a break. Williams got 33 months in a young offenders’ institute, while Iles got 30 months, both suspended for two years. They’ll need to crack on with unpaid work and rehabilitation activities instead!

Williams has an apprenticeship lined up, and Iles is just 18, both seemingly eager to turn over a new leaf. Hopefully, their legal scrapes open a new chapter without any more egg-related scandals! 🥚💼 Stay tuned for more stories like this, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled—you never know what might pop up next! #CrimeNews #KinderSurprise
