🚨 Rugby Emergency Signing Alert! 🚨
Exciting news from the Dragons camp! The team has snatched up talented hooker George Roberts from Doncaster Knights after an injury storm swept through their front-row. With key players like Elliot Dee and James Benjamin sidelined, the squad had to act fast to boost their ranks ahead of Sunday’s face-off with Lyon at Rodney Parade.
George, a proud Welshman from Wrexham, joins the Dragons hungry to make his mark. Head coach Filo Tiatia expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to have George on board. He’s already shown great commitment and is eager to dive in and make an impact.”
The 27-year-old brings with him a wealth of experience from his time at Doncaster, where he played 103 matches and scored 19 tries. Lions legend Sir Ian McGeechan highlighted George’s leadership and ambition to don the Welsh jersey, wishing him the best on his journey with the Dragons. 🏉
Let’s cheer on George as he embarks on this exciting new chapter with the Dragons, and we wish a speedy recovery to those on the injury list. Here’s hoping for a strong performance this weekend! 🐉💪
