After last year’s semi-final heartbreak, the North were on a mission to conquer this season. And they did just that, notching up their third win over Bonymaen this year. With spectacular tries from Sophie Peters, Anna Stowell, Niamh Tinman, and the standout star Elin Hopkins, the team showed their mettle right from the start.

Hopkins set the tone early with a powerful play leading to the first try, converted by Claudia Meyrick-Ward. Meyrick-Ward was on fire, adding a penalty soon after to extend the lead. Stowell’s darting try in the corner gave Llandaff North a comfortable edge as they headed into the break.

Coming back with the same energy, Tinman broke through Bonymaen’s defence, adding to the score. But Bonymaen wasn’t going down without a fight – replacement Tyler Tipene scored to keep her team in contention.

Llandaff North wasn’t done yet! With a smart offload from Peters, Hopkins once again crossed the line, even converting her own try. Despite Bonymaen’s late try from Charlie Manns, it wasn’t enough to deny North their well-deserved victory.

Massive congratulations to the team, especially player of the match Elin Hopkins, for an electrifying performance. Cerys Sweetman proudly lifted the trophy surrounded by her jubilant teammates.

Well played, Llandaff North – you’ve earned every bit of this victory! 🎉🏉 #RugbyJoy #Champions #LlandaffNorthWin
