🏉 What a match at the Principality Stadium! New Dock Stars edge out Tumble in a thrilling 32-29 victory to claim the WRU Division 3 Cup Final. 🎉
Led by captain Jordan Williams, who knows a thing or two about winning at this venue, the Stars showcased an electrifying performance. Adam Gealy delivered a standout performance, racking up 17 points that were crucial to the win.🌟
“I’m buzzing to be playing with my childhood mates at the national stadium — it’s a dream come true,” said Williams, soaking in the victory vibes. “A massive shoutout to the 500 fans from Llanelli who came down. Your support was incredible! As for celebrations, the sooner, the better — I’m parched!” 🍻
From explosive tries by Jonny Harries and Ben Leung to Gealy’s magic touch, New Dock’s forwards set the pace early. Tumble, however, weren’t going down without a fight. Centre Dafydd Thomas scored twice, and prop Garin McPherson-Williams bulldozed through tackles, keeping everyone on their toes until the last minute! 🏆
Despite Tumble’s late effort, including a last-gasp try by Steffan Owen, New Dock Stars held firm to lift the cup. A heart-pounding finish that had fans on the edge of their seats!
