Get ready for another scorcher, everyone! 🌞 BBC weather whiz Derek Brockway has announced a third heatwave heading our way, promising to stick around longer. Brace yourselves; temperatures are expected to reach a sizzling 31°C!

This warm spell is set to spread across Wales this week, bringing glorious sunshine and light winds. While it might not hit the extreme highs of last month’s record-breaking event, forecasters predict this one will linger, possibly stretching into mid-July.

Expect the mercury to soar in the south, with temperatures climbing into the mid-30s later in the week. The Met Office forecasts highs of 32°C on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures potentially touching up to 35°C in some spots by Friday and Saturday.
Derek Brockway reported a warm 28°C in Usk, Monmouthshire, recently and warns that it’s only getting hotter. We’re looking at maximum temperatures of around 33°C on Friday! Although the humidity won’t match last month’s uncomfortable highs, this heatwave is set to endure a bit longer.
The Met Office warns of very warm conditions persisting throughout the week, with increasing chances of showers or isolated thunderstorms. While temperatures may drop slightly next week, it’ll still be warm and dry across Wales.
Stay cool, keep hydrated, and perhaps enjoy the sunshine while it lasts! How are you planning to beat the heat? ☀️🔥
