🏉 Exciting news for rugby fans! Wales have announced their lineup for the big showdown against Fiji this Saturday. After some midweek drama over match fees, coach Steve Tandy has set the stage for a thrilling encounter at Cardiff City Stadium.
🏃♂️ The headline change? Wales fan-favourite Louis Rees-Zammit is back on the wing, his preferred position, after a stint at full-back. Known for his blazing speed, Rees-Zammit is ready to make an impact, especially since he’s scored in each past encounter against Fiji.
🔄 There are six changes to the squad from last week’s game against the Barbarians. Blair Murray holds onto the full-back position, while Josh Adams returns to the starting lineup. Tomos Williams steps in at scrum-half, adding to the reshuffle in the backline.
💪 Up front, expect to see Rhys Carre taking over at loosehead and Adam Beard partnering with Ben Carter in the lock positions after his recent Top 14 final outing. Alex Mann carries on his impressive streak under Tandy’s leadership.
🏟️ A tough match is on the horizon, but with Fiji proving to be a favourable opponent for Rees-Zammit, fans will be hoping for a winning start to the Nations Championship.
