Big changes are coming to BBC football favourites! ⚽️
After decades on our screens, Football Focus will be axed at the end of this season as BBC Sport reshuffles its line-up in response to how we now watch the beautiful game. Stepping up to fill the spot is The Football Interview, with Kelly Somers taking to the stage every Saturday at 12.45pm.
Meanwhile, Final Score isn’t missing a beat and will now kick off at 3.45pm, giving you more game updates—perfect for those who live from whistle to whistle! 🕒
But that’s not all—Match of the Day has also seen a revamp. Gone are the days of Match of the Day 2; now it’s all Match of the Day, all the time! Legendary host Gary Lineker has passed the baton after 26 years, with Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman, and Gabby Logan rotating duties. Expect the same passion, analysis, and highlights, but with fresh faces leading the charge.
Join the conversation as BBC Sport navigates these exciting changes, ensuring every moment—every goal, every cheer, every controversy—is right at your fingertips on iPlayer, the BBC Sport app, and website. Whether you’re glued to your screens or streaming on the go, BBC’s got you covered.
