🚨 Big bust in Cardiff! 🚨 A major drug dealer was caught red-handed with crack cocaine and heroin in his underpants as he left his girlfriend’s house. Thomas Daley, a 23-year-old from Llanrumney, had been sending thousands of texts offering drugs to potential clients. He wasn’t subtle, with messages like “Live Tt B ..5 20 W .5 20 Ful Gram 40” indicating prices in bulk messages to hundreds at a time.
Thanks to diligent detective work by South Wales Police, Daley’s operation was exposed when they traced bulk drug-related texts to a phone being investigated for another matter. CCTV and forensic phone analysis placed him at specific locations, leading to his arrest on October 10th. During the arrest, officers discovered wraps of crack cocaine and heroin stashed in his clothing.
Daley pleaded guilty to possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply and was sentenced to three years in prison by Cardiff Crown Court. Detective Constable Adam Fenlon stated, “Drug dealers try to hide their activities… but we’ll exploit every opportunity to bring them to justice.”
