The horrifying attack, which happened on November 6, left the victim, who suffers from microcephaly, too terrified to leave his own home while Allen was still awake. During a court hearing, it was revealed that Allen has a long history of offences, with this latest attack adding to his 44 previous convictions. Despite his past, Allen claims to feel “ashamed” of his actions, citing a troubled upbringing and alcohol dependency. Nonetheless, the judge called his actions a “brutal assault on a vulnerable man,” sentencing him to two years and four months in prison along with a five-year restraining order.
