While parents are advised to stay calm and away from school gates, the search is on for the gunman who reportedly fled on an e-bike. 🚴♂️
Bristol Brunel Academy, Two Mile Hill Primary, and Chester Park schools are all in lockdown. Reassuringly, all staff and pupils are safe inside, whilst emergency services work hard to manage the situation. The school’s messages to parents confirm they’re just being cautious, following the police’s lead. 👮♀️✋
Police are hot on the trail, hunting for a suspect described as a slim, 6ft tall white male, possibly in his late teens or early twenties, dressed in a grey hoodie and black trousers. The area around Fishponds, Kingswood, and Eastville is buzzing with police activity, including a helicopter overhead! 🚁
As police continue their search and cordon off roads, parents and residents are urged to follow official updates for their safety. 🗞️
