Exciting times ahead for Swansea City fans as we gear up for the 2026/27 season! Here’s a quick rundown of all the key dates you’ll want to mark on your calendars.
The summer transfer window is already in full swing, having opened on 15th June, so keep your eyes peeled for new talent joining the Swans. In just a few days, on 25th June at 12:00 PM BST, the full EFL Championship fixture list will be revealed – perfect for planning your year ahead!
While we eagerly anticipate the launch of our new kit (will Snoop Dogg make another appearance?), the first-team squad is set to return to Fairwood Training Centre early July for initial fitness tests. This July also promises an intense pre-season, with the team flying off to Austria for a training camp and a lineup of domestic and possibly international friendlies.
Mark your diaries for mid-August as the Championship regular season kicks off between 14th and 16th August. The schedule is tighter this year due to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, so it’s sure to be a season full of thrills!
Don’t forget, the transfer window slams shut at 11:00 PM BST on 1st September, so watch this space for any last-minute surprises. And as the season unfolds, anticipate the final fixtures on 8th May 2027, with hopes soaring for a play-off spot at Wembley later that month.
Stay tuned, support the Swans, and let’s make it a season to remember! 💪⚽️
