🚜 Shed Controversy in Pembrokeshire! 🏡

Plans to build a massive 60ft shed and stables near the quaint village of Cosheston have been turned down. Pembrokeshire Council rejected an application from Ryan Surname Boswell & Family, who wanted to upgrade their temporary stables and create space for their traveller family home at Greenwells. The proposed shed was meant to house domestic gear, farming equipment, and provide shelter for their ponies. 🐴

The original plans were for a 24.3m by 9.1m structure, but even after reducing it to 18.3m by 9m, local authorities weren’t convinced. Concerns arose over its size and potential use for non-agricultural purposes.

The Council and locals worried about the “excessive” dimensions and the risk of it being used for a building business. 🌱 The proposed development was deemed visually intrusive and not fitting with the countryside’s character, lacking evidence of essential need for such a grand structure. 🌳
The local community supports a smaller, more fitting stable, while council officials stress no clear need for such a large shed has been demonstrated. 📏
