🎯 Mark Webster Steps Back from Darts Commentary 🎯
Darts fans, we’ve got some news from the oche! Mark Webster, a familiar voice across the darts circuit for the past six years, is stepping back from his punditry role due to a personal medical condition. Known for his sharp insights and love for the game, the former BDO world champion has been a fixture on both Sky Sports and ITV Sport.
At 42, the Welshman has decided to take a breather, and we send him our best wishes for a swift recovery. MODUS Sports shared, “Mark will be taking a short break from his broadcasting duties. Respect his privacy during this time, please.”
Webster, who embraced commentary as a way to remain connected to the sport, once shared his enthusiasm for witnessing emerging talent firsthand. He reflected, “It’s fantastic to still be part of the game, watch new players, and be among friends.”
In other darts news, all eyes are on Northern Ireland’s Josh Rock, gearing up for his Belfast comeback in the Premier League. Though he’s had a tough start, Rock is eager to perform on home turf. “I’m massively excited,” he said, looking forward to the support of friends and family.
🎯 Stay tuned for more darting action and send your cheers to Mark and Josh! 🎯
