🎸 Metallica Rocks Cardiff in More Ways Than One! 🎸
After playing to a record-breaking crowd of 76,000 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Metallica left more than just musical memories behind. The heavy metal legends discreetly donated a whopping £40,000 to local charities, with £20,000 going to the Cardiff Foodbank and another £20,000 aiding the incredible work at Llamau, a charity supporting the homeless.
The donation to Cardiff Foodbank comes at a crucial time, with funds able to feed 1,000 people or purchase 9,000 meals, a lifeline amid increasing demand. Meanwhile, Llamau expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating the funds will significantly impact women and children battling homelessness, offering them support and a chance for a brighter future.
Through their All Within My Hands foundation, Metallica’s generous contributions during their mammoth M72 World Tour show that their legendary stage presence is matched by an equally legendary commitment to the communities they visit.
Kudos to Metallica for turning up the volume on giving back! 🎶💪
