🏉 Mike Tindall lets loose on his 2003 World Cup teammates in a fiery rant alongside Joe Marler! 🔥
Following England’s disappointing Six Nations campaign, Tindall didn’t hold back in defending the current squad on his popular podcast “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.” After some 2003 heroes voiced concerns about the team’s environment and focus, Tindall, known for his no-nonsense style, had a few choice words for his old friends. 💬
“Outside of one person, not one of them has ever f****** coached, so what the f*** do they know?” Tindall exclaimed, challenging whether these legends truly understand what the current team needs. Despite their concerns, Tindall defended them, acknowledging their role as great players but questioning their coaching insights.
Joe Marler joined the conversation, highlighting how coaching and player management have evolved over the years. “It’s a different kettle of fish now,” Marler noted. The young generation requires a fresh approach, a sentiment echoed by head coach Steve Borthwick as he navigates the challenges of leading England back to glory. 🏆
Borthwick’s future hinges on the upcoming Six Nations review, where the team’s narrow loss to France and overall tournament performance will be scrutinised. Despite setbacks, England’s spirited display in their final match may just buy him some valuable time.
The Six Nations may have ended with mixed emotions for England fans, but the passion and debate around the team continue to burn bright. 🌟 What do you think—are the legends right, or does the current squad simply need a new direction? Drop your thoughts in the comments below! 👇
