🌟 Enchanted Garden in Caerphilly: A Magical Family Project! 🌟
Meet Kathryn, a creative mum from Caerphilly who’s spent over £3,000 transforming her front garden into a whimsical wonderland, complete with a magical wishing tree! 🧚♀️✨ Over 10 days, she crafted an 18ft long installation using pool noodles, wire, insulation boards, and heaps of artificial leaves.
Kathryn’s enchanted garden isn’t just a feast for the eyes; it’s also a heartfelt project for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Visitors can stop by, enjoy the enchanting space, and make a donation if they wish. 🌈🎋
Kathryn, her husband Graeme, and her daughter Lowry teamed up to bring this dream garden to life. From fairy lights to handwritten wishes on leaves, and even treat boxes with snacks and drinks for visitors, every detail was meticulously planned to spread joy and foster community connections. 🍰🍂
The themed garden also hosts fun activities like colouring, fairy-themed word searches, and even teddy bear picnic areas for little ones to enjoy. Local groups including Brownies, Rainbows, and Girl Guides have already visited, adding their own wishes to the tree. 🧸✏️
Amongst the treasured wishes, there are heartwarming—and sometimes heartbreaking—notes from visitors, young and old. Kathryn shares touching stories, like an elderly gentleman who wished for happiness again, and her father, who wished for his health to improve. 💖
Despite the costs, Kathryn’s determination to create a happy space for everyone shines through. “Watching people enjoy and create memories is worth every penny,” she says. 🌟
This beautiful initiative reminds us all of the importance of community, kindness, and, most importantly, the magic of wishes. ✨
🌿 Interested in visiting? Make sure to pop by, enjoy a cuppa, and soak in the atmosphere of Kathryn’s enchanting garden. You won’t be disappointed! ☕🍃
