🌟 Meet Little Eddie: A True Fighter! 🌟

This brave 7-year-old from Cardiff isn’t letting cerebral palsy stand in his way! Despite being born prematurely at just 24 weeks and facing muscle and growth challenges, Eddie is determined to live life to the fullest. He’s swimming, playing football, and even joked with classmates, “Look at me, in the water, I’m normal.” 🏊♂️⚽

Now Eddie needs our help. His mum, Eliška Židová, is on a heartfelt mission to raise £40,000 for a life-changing operation—Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR)—that could dramatically improve his daily life. With this specialist procedure, Eddie could walk with less dependence on his wheelchair, play with friends, and reduce the risk of further surgeries as he grows.

Eliška, originally from the Czech Republic and working at Cardiff University, shares the joy and challenges of raising this inquisitive and energetic child. Eddie’s love for gaming, reading, and sports fuels his zest for life. But knowing his condition could worsen without treatment drives Eliška’s fundraising efforts.
With over half the target already funded, including a generous anonymous donation of £10,000, we’re nearly there! Let’s help Eddie beat the odds and give him the chance to experience the world with the same excitement and curiosity he shows every day.
Join us in supporting this incredible journey towards a brighter, more independent future for Eddie. Every donation counts, and your support means the world to this family. 💙
