She admitted to engaging in an “inappropriate” relationship with a prisoner while working at HMP Risley in Warrington. Appearing at Liverpool Crown Court, Zoe pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office. Her lawyer revealed that more than 1,100 messages form part of the evidence!
Zoe, decked out in a beige coat and black dress, had her sentencing postponed until January 9, 2026, giving her a bit of time before possibly heading behind bars herself. The judge has ordered a pre-sentence report, reminding her that this doesn’t guarantee a lighter sentence and to prepare for the possibility of prison time. 😬
Meanwhile, her co-defendant, Lewis Smith, has his own rendezvous with the law. Charged with possession of a mobile phone, prohibited items, and anabolic steroids in prison, his hearing’s coming up in December.
