Heartfelt tributes are pouring in for Isaac Clare-Watts, a 26-year-old Nottingham local whose tragic death has sent shockwaves through the community. Isaac, described by many as a “very popular” and talented joiner, was discovered in the historic Nine Ladies Stone Circle in the Peak District, a beloved spot that just hosted the summer solstice festivities.
Derbyshire Police responded to the grim discovery on Monday, shortly after 1:30 pm, and have since detained a 41-year-old man on suspicion of murder. Although a formal identification hasn’t been made, Isaac’s family is being supported by specially trained officers during this devastating time.
Isaac’s former colleagues at Nottingham construction firm Frank Goulding Ltd expressed their sorrow, remembering him as a promising talent and a vibrant team member. After completing his joinery apprenticeship, Isaac embarked on global travels last year, honing his Muay Thai skills in Thailand — a true passion of his.
Police are eagerly appealing to anyone who was at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle over the weekend or has video footage from the events to reach out. If you have any information, please contact Derbyshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 26*364216.
