🚨 Traffic Alert: A55 Accident 🚨
Heads up, folks! This morning saw quite the commotion on the A55 near Chester as three vehicles — a Renault van, a Seat Ateca, and a BMW — were involved in a collision. Happened just before 9am between Broughton and the Posthouse roundabout. The eastbound road was shut down, leading to massive delays and plenty of frustrated drivers stuck in queues for over two hours.
Thankfully, the injuries were minor. Four people were treated on the scene. Emergency services, including the local fire brigade and paramedics, arrived swiftly to manage the situation and ensure everyone’s safety. No fire hazards were reported, and firefighters quickly made the vehicles safe.
The road reopened after 11am, so hopefully, the traffic’s easing up by now.
Stay safe and drive carefully out there! 🚗💨
