🚨 Mail delay alert! 🚨
Suffering from empty letterboxes today? You’re not alone. Royal Mail has announced disruptions affecting 74 postcode areas across the UK, and unfortunately, some parts of Wales are in the mix too. 😟
Normally, the postie battles wind and rain to deliver your letters and parcels six days a week. But today, hiccups in 26 delivery offices have caused some unwanted delays. 📮
Why the hold up? Blame it on local issues like staff sickness and resourcing. Royal Mail is spinning plates with delivery rotations to minimise the wait time for your much-needed mail. They’re working hard behind the scenes to get back on track and thank everyone for their patience.
Some of the areas affected include:
📍 Bristol
📍 Glasgow
📍 Hull
📍 Pontyclun
📍 Swindon
As Royal Mail navigates through these tricky waters, it’s worth noting a stamp price hike looms next month. First class stamps will jump 10p to £1.80, with second class rising by 4p to 91p. Let’s hope for smoother deliveries ahead!
For those eagerly awaiting their post, hang tight! Know anyone who’s affected? Tag or share to let them know! 📬
