🚶♀️ A Courageous Trek Turned Adventure of a Lifetime! 🌊

Meet Janet Baldock, a fearless 67-year-old grandmother from Wiltshire, who embarked on a 730-mile solo journey along the stunning Wales Coast Path to raise money for Support Dogs. But a simple wrong turn in Carmarthenshire turned her charity trek into a thrilling tale of survival!

While navigating the Gwendraeth estuary, Janet lost track of the path and ended up trapped in a bog with rising tides. Without any help in sight, she found herself neck-deep in muddy water, struggling against barbed wire and fearing for her life. 😨 But Janet’s determination wasn’t about to let her down. Fueled by adrenaline, she heroically freed herself, emerging injured but triumphant.

Despite the terrifying ordeal leaving her with a nasty cut and a 12-inch scar, Janet refused to give up on her dream. After a stint in a welcoming farmer’s home to recover, she bravely continued, determined to finish her epic journey. Her hard work paid off by raising almost £2,000 and earning her the title of Support Dogs’ fundraiser of the year! 🐾🏅
Reflecting on her incredible experience, Janet says it was the best time of her life, reconnecting with her Welsh roots and celebrating her 68th birthday with 730 miles under her belt.
