⚽️ Excitement is brewing as Wrexham takes on Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round this Saturday! Set your clocks for the 5:45 pm kick-off at the iconic Racecourse Ground.
VAR will be in full swing, helping the refs spot any major slip-ups. And forget about replays; this match will be decided on the night. If it’s a nail-biter and ends in a draw, brace yourself for extra time and perhaps even a penalty shootout!
Managers have the flexibility with nine players on the bench and five substitutions, but here’s the catch: changes must be squeezed into three opportunities, excluding half-time. Need extra-time? You get one more sub!
A fresh twist this season is the eight-second rule for goalkeepers—hold the ball too long, and the opponent gets a corner kick. Keep your eyes peeled for the ref’s countdown signal!
📺 Can’t make it to the match? No worries! Catch it live on TNT Sports 2 and BBC One or stream seamlessly via discovery+. For radio listeners, tune into BBC Radio 5 Live, talkSPORT, or local stations for vibrant commentary.
In team news, Wrexham’s Ben Sheaf sits out due to a ligament injury, whereas Chelsea may welcome back Marc Cucurella, with Romeo Lavia and Reece James eyeing a comeback. Sadly, Levi Colwill and Mykhaylo Mudryk are sidelined.
Get ready for an electrifying match full of suspense and thrill—it’s bound to be a fan-favourite showdown! Who are you rooting for? 🤔⚽ #FACup #WrexhamVsChelsea #GameOn
