A major incident unfolded this afternoon on the A484 in Kidwelly involving a public bus, causing road closures from Kidwelly Roundabout to Llandyfaelog. Police, paramedics, and fire services are all on site as investigations continue. The bus, part of the X11 service, was carrying passengers who have since been safely evacuated and are receiving care at a temporary rest centre.
Local MP Dame Nia Griffith expressed her concern for those involved, urging the community to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. Due to the emergency response, traffic disruptions are expected, and emergency service resources are concentrated on providing aid to those affected.
