📚 Big Education Changes Coming to Wales! 📚
Meet Anna Brychan, Wales’ new dynamo in education. She’s ready to shake things up, and she’s not holding back! 🚀
Brychan believes that education in Wales hasn’t been hitting the mark since devolution. Her plan? A laser focus on boosting literacy and numeracy. By the end of the term, schools will receive the game plan. She’s also open to revamping tests to get a clearer picture of the necessary improvements. 📈
Literacy and numeracy are her big targets, with a call for more detailed data to uncover strengths and weaknesses. This isn’t about pointing fingers but about finding what works and what doesn’t. 📊
Brychan’s also tackling school preparedness with an upgrade to Plaid’s free childcare policy. She hopes it’ll better equip kids with the essential skills before they hit the classroom. 🧒
Plus, she’s committed to addressing issues like behaviour and low attendance, which have been tricky since COVID. Attendance is creeping up, but there’s more work to be done. 🏫
And let’s talk money! Brychan is set to advocate fiercely for education funding, emphasising education as a pillar for Wales’ future. 💷
Get ready for big changes, Wales! Keep your eyes peeled as this new leadership meets the pressing challenges head-on. Anna Brychan’s got her sights set on making waves in education—watch this space! 🌊 #WalesEducation #NewBeginnings
