Exciting changes in Neath Port Talbot! 🌟 At the recent annual general meeting, Independent councillor Steve Hunt was re-elected as the leader of Neath Port Talbot Council for the upcoming year. Congratulations to Steve from Crynant, Onllwyn, and Seven Sisters! Joining him in leading the council is returning deputy leader Councillor Alun Llewelyn from Cwmllynfell and Ystalyfera. Together, they’re ready to tackle the challenges ahead and focus on the diverse community they represent.

In other big news, Labour councillor Alan Lockyer from Neath North has been appointed as the new mayor. A huge round of applause for Alan as he steps into this prestigious role. With Cllr James Henton supporting him as deputy mayor, Alan’s ready to be the ambassador the area deserves. From championing local charities to supporting community initiatives, they’re all set to make a positive impact.
