🏉 Magnificent win for Wales U-19s against Ireland! 😍 The future looks bright with a promising mix of talent and some familiar surnames gracing the pitch. Gabe Williams, son of the legendary Wales back-rower Owain, played in the second-row. Dylan James and Nick Jones, sons of former Wales greats Paul and Robert respectively, made their mark too. 🙌
The young team, led by Richard Whiffin, delivered a thrilling 24-20 victory, showcasing impressive skill and teamwork. The squad fought off a strong Irish attack, proving their resilience and determination.
Standout moments include tries from Baily Cutts and Rhys Cole, who are swiftly becoming ones to watch. Rhys scored twice in pre-season and has already impressed at the Dragons. 💫
Cerrig Smith’s leadership shone brightly as captain, and fly-half Lloyd Lucas added seven crucial points to the scoreboard. With talents like Sonny McCabe, tipped by former Wales star Josh Turnbull to have a huge future, our rugby legacy is in safe hands. 👏
Exciting times ahead for Welsh rugby! Keep an eye out for these rising stars. 🌟 #WelshRugby #FutureStars #RugbyFamily
