Steve Price, a 49-year-old civil engineer, has been sentenced at Swansea Crown Court after stalking his ex-partner and her new boyfriend. Post-breakup in 2023, Price frequently lurked around his ex’s house, driving past slowly and staring ominously. Things took a darker turn when his ex started a new relationship in June 2024. Price began targeting her boyfriend, showing up at his work and home, even making menacing comments.
In a shocking twist, Price was also found guilty of a separate sexual assault incident in the Swansea Valley, leaving the victim traumatised.
With previous convictions for assault and criminal damage, Price has been handed a 16-month prison sentence. Thanks to a guilty plea, he’s set for release soon, but a restraining order means he must keep well away from his victims for five years.
