David, 67, shared his frustration, mentioning how the rubbish has become an environmental and health issue, attracting seagulls and turning the situation “uncontrollable.” Theresa, 77, echoed his sentiments, expressing her frustration over the prolonged issue. 😫

The council has acknowledged the parking problem, urging motorists to park responsibly to ensure bin access. However, they noted that enforcement against such obstruction is outside their jurisdiction, leaving the resolution to police intervention. 🚓

Wales & West Housing, who manage the complex, highlighted their efforts to mitigate the issue by hiring clearance companies but emphasised that parking on public streets is beyond their control. 🏘️

Good news: the bins have finally been emptied as of February 23! 🎉 But the situation shines a light on the challenges faced by residents due to parking woes and the importance of community consideration.

Let’s hope for a permanent solution to keep our streets clean and accessible! 🌿
