⚽️ Manchester United Youngster Kobbie Mainoo Faces Career Dilemma – Insight from Paul Pogba! 🚀
Kobbie Mainoo, a rising star at Manchester United, is making waves once more in the starting XI under Michael Carrick. But, like any footballer with dreams of regular pitch time, he’s got decisions to make!
Just 21 and already fighting for his spot, Mainoo considered a loan move for more playtime last summer. But here’s the catch: his contract is ticking down to just 12 months when the next transfer window opens.
Enter Paul Pogba, the French midfield maestro, who had his own journey from United’s academy to first-team success. Pogba’s got some advice for young Mainoo. On the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Pogba shared that Mainoo’s playing time should be his main focus. “It’s difficult,” Pogba said. “If he feels the love from the manager and club, that’s great. But if doubts creep in, maybe a change could be needed.”
Pogba knows a thing or two about walking away to come back stronger, having left United in 2012 only to return in 2016. Despite struggling with injury and a recent doping ban, Pogba remains a voice of experience for young talents like Mainoo.
💬 “I just want to see this kid play,” Pogba says. “He’s got the talent for a bright future at United.”
Mainoo’s journey is just beginning, and the football world is watching. Whether he stays at Old Trafford or explores new horizons, fans are eager to see what he’ll achieve next. What do you think Mainoo should do? Stay or seek new challenges? 🤔
