🏉 Rugby Rumour Mill Update! 🏉
Exciting times in the rugby world with plenty of transfer drama and coaching shake-ups! 🌟
🔍 France’s plans to replace renowned defence coach Shaun Edwards have hit a snag. Geoffrey Doumayrou was in line for the role, but it turns out he doesn’t have the required coaching qualifications. With Doumayrou out, Gerald Bastilde has temporarily stepped in, while Bordeaux’s Christophe Laussucq may be waiting in the wings.
🏆 Meanwhile, Wales centre Tyler Morgan is celebrating his stay at Nissa following their exciting climb to Pro D2. He’s inked a deal to stay until 2028, while Owen Williams is secured at the club until summer.
🌍 Across the pond, New Zealand’s Super Rugby top-scorer Fehi Fineanganofo might be a no-show for Newcastle Red Bulls. After being called up to the All Blacks, it seems he’s reconsidering his move to England. But don’t worry, South African winger Werner Kok is ready to fill the gap after his release from Ulster.
🇮🇹 Italy’s Paolo Garbisi is reportedly set for a switch to Perpignan. Despite starting strong with Toulon, he’s now open to new adventures following competition from Argentina’s Tomas Albornoz.
🏆 Harlequins are shaking up their coaching team! New attack mastermind Brad Cooper joins from Hurricanes, along with Robbie Deans, Rob Hunter, and Jordan Turner-Hall taking charge of defence.
🇿🇦 Springbok star Aphelele Fassi is taking a year-long break from the Sharks, heading to Japan, but plans to return to Durban soon.
👣 Closer to home, Scarlets are gearing up for pre-season with a new squad lineup set to debut soon. While All Black Cullen Grace will join later in the year, newcomers like Alex Groves and Corey Domachowski are ready to impress in Llanelli.
