🔫 Police Discover Airgun After Newport Brawl Reports 🔍
Over the weekend, Newport saw a bit of commotion with back-to-back police visits after alarming incidents. On Saturday, Gwent Police responded to reports of a street brawl among several men in Oliphant Circle, Newport. Although no injuries were reported, officers found and seized an airsoft gun during their search. 🚔
The day before, things took a more troubling turn when three teens were attacked in the woodland behind Graham Bell Close. A 14-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, were injured by air pellets. The situation escalated when one of the boys was physically assaulted and needed hospital treatment. 🏥
While the airgun was found close to where the teens were attacked, the police are currently treating these as separate incidents. They’re hard at work investigating and are keen to hear from anyone who might have any intel on what transpired. 👀
