🚨 Busted by a Dropped Phone! 🚨

A slip-up with a mobile phone proved to be a major downfall for drug dealer Lawrence Henson in Newport. Last year, police spotted the 33-year-old cruising around on a motorbike with no number plates. After making contact with individuals on the street, Henson sped off, leaving his phone behind—a costly oversight.

Police looked into the phone and discovered a treasure trove of incriminating messages advertising heroin and cocaine deals. The investigation led them right to Henson’s doorstep.
Fast forward to a tense arrest, the police found him sitting in a car near his partner’s home. After some resistance from Henson to let them in, the police searched his property. What they uncovered was staggering: £140,000+ worth of heroin and a stash of crack cocaine stashed in a Nike bag hidden away.
With 10 previous convictions under his belt, Henson found himself back in court, facing the consequences of his actions. Echoing the destructive nature of drugs, Recorder Andrew Hammond didn’t hold back during sentencing, stating that Henson’s actions were impacting lives and communities across South Wales.
The final verdict? Seven years behind bars for Henson, reminding us all that crime does not pay. ✋🔒 #CrimeDoesntPay #JusticeServed #StaySafe
