🚨 **High-Stakes Chase Through Barry: Drug Dealer Caught On Camera!** 🚨

Imagine this – It’s a regular day in Barry when, suddenly, chaos erupts! A suspicious sighting by some eagle-eyed South Wales Police officers sets in motion a dramatic foot chase worthy of a crime drama series. The suspect, Rio Dinnall from Newport, had officers from the Organised Crime Unit hot on his heels!

Spotted in Clos Y Rheil Ffordd acting suspiciously, it wasn’t long before Dinnall took off running, sparking a pursuit through a residential estate. The 20-year-old, armed with a crutch, darted through gardens, desperate to evade the officers. But there’s no escaping the watchful eye of CCTV cameras! In a bold move, Rio was captured tossing bags of crack cocaine over a garden fence. 🎥

His run didn’t last long. Dinnall was tackled, cuffed, and seen retracing his chaotic path only for officers to discover his discarded stash in the process. The catch? Class A drugs with a street value of a whopping £6,000!
Fast forward to Cardiff Crown Court this past Monday: Dinnall faces the music with a sentence of three years and eight months behind bars for possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Tim Jones put it best, reminding us all that drug dealers live a constant life on the run. “We will not tolerate drugs in our communities. We are always out looking for them, day and night,” he affirmed. 👮♂️
A big shoutout to everyone continually providing critical info to the authorities – it makes a HUGE difference in keeping our streets safer. Keep those tips coming! 📞
